After a one day rest, this step should be an important day of the 105th edition of the "Grande Boucle" with it’s first passage ever on the Plateau des Glières. The first day in the Alps should offer a challenge between the best riders and also pay tribute to the the Resistance.
Before joining the Grand-Bornand, the cyclists will have to climb the Col de la Croix Fry, followed by the climb to the Plateau des Glières, the Col de Romme and finally the Col de la Colombière before arriving at the descent of Grand-Bornand.
